No Easter plans now, and I'm on the opposite coast than my family. I'm thinking about making babka to make myself feel a little less homesick. I'm hoping my parents send me a slice of lamb cake that my dad makes every Easter. And no, it isn't made out of lamb, it's baked in a lamb-shaped cast iron mold. And my dad makes the most delicious icing ever. I'm so hoping for a slice of that to come my way.

Other than that, no basket for me.

My kids each get a stuffed animal, movie, 1 chocolate bunny, 1 new outfit, and I buy a bag of those mini eggs, and fill plastic eggs with them to hide around the house.

I get my husband a video game, and a few of his favorite easter candies.

As for me. 1 cadbury creme egg, and a white chocolate bunny to melt and pour over my popcorn. Delish!

my kid is getting a couple easter candies, but mostly other stuff. spiderman wallet and water gun, a dvd, a book, sand pail and bubbles.. and when we do the easter egg hunt with plastic eggs, we put loose change, matchbox cars, erasers and other small items in them instead of more candy.

I get one Cadbury Creme Egg a year (well, used to be a few more, but now that I am eating healthier, I only want one.) That is my favourite Easter treat. I don't have kids of my own, so I have no easter baskets to fill/
  • Leg of Lamb, sweet potato and sauteed kale. Forget candy. I want meat! Happy Easter
