I came across this site today when curious about how far I've been running. It's free to sign up, and you can outline your run/bike/walk/whatever on a map and it will tabulate the distance for you! (This way you can get a good measure of your average speed!) You can save all your routes, share them with friends, add it to facebook, I'm sure a bunch more things I haven't discovered yet!
Anyhoodles, I think it's pretty spiffy and definitely share-worthy!

I just checked my route and it said it was only .54 miles, but when I drove it, it said it was exactly one mile??? wander which is right? you think the car makers did that on purpose to make us think we were getting better gas mileage? its a conspiracy!!!!:laugh:0

Maybe a mix up between km and miles? 1 km is about .62 miles, which is suspiciously close to .540 -
Very nice... I have one to add too
mapmyride.com it works for running, cycling etc. It is easy and you can add your own routes or search others. Pretty helpful.0 -

I toyed around with it. I already knew the mileage on my routes, because I've driven them, but it was still fun to play with.0
