Im Holding water weight like mad, didn't loose anything this week until yesterday when I went down a pound. Then I spend the entire night up going pee and I step on the scale and drop 3 pounds?? It seems to be my pattern for loosing weight. Anyone else's body doing the same thing?? I guess I should be happy because, Ive been told its just water and you will gain it back, but I havent so far, so like I said it just be my way...

I definitly fluctuate 5 pounds, and i know its just water, although that 5 pounds right now puts me in a different weight category0

Are you eating a lot of sodium? That causes me to go up and down a lot.0

Easily in the realm of water weight! You eat right, exercise a lot, lose nothing for a while. Have a day running to the bathroom a lot and lose a large number. Yup, completely normal! Congrats on the losses by the way!
I have the exact same cylces. Nevermind TOM! That's even worse. It's perfectly normal. You can minimize the extent of water retention by drinking extra water, but not completely. I do the same as you, and I drink 3-4 liters of water minimum every day.
I don't monitor sodium intake, but I'm not a fan of salty foods to begin with, so I just figure I flush out extra in all the water I drink. It may play a role somewhat.0 -
