  • Is it the same app? I didn't think it was supposed to be out until May for Android...

No, It's not the same app

  • You don't have to wait!

Yeah, It's not out yet for Android. Soon... Soon

So fun, saw the review on TheClothesMakeTheGirl and bought that day. Still on mission 1 but enjoy it, takes my mind off the general suckiness of running. I keep getting caught by the Zombs though! I'll be stoked on the day I outrun them :)

Sounds like so much fun, but I'm waiting to be able to get it... I think I will start out by walking and once zombies are after me then run... maybe be able to work up to running the whole missions.

I learned about this app yesterday, bought it, and couldn't wait to try it out. Today I had my first run with it.

SO MUCH FUN! I ran farther and faster than I intended - my fastest run ever, in fact, and I was planning one loop around a 2.7 mile lake but ended up going farther and completing 3.39 miles. I outran two zombie hordes, but unfortunately one caught me - I was stuck at a stoplight!

Too bad it's not safe to run outside after dark. That would make this even more fun :) this app was just what I needed to get outside and running again. I can't wait until my next mission!

I rarely buy apps that cost even 99 cents. This was big for me! But I haven't run since I completed my last race. This got me EXCITED to hit the pavement. I consider it money well spent already and I've only used it once :)

I also did some reading at the developers' kickstarter page. They seem like good people, it's a fun app, and I decided I spend $8 on worse things.

I've had that app for years... since I had my G1... And I have never played it. :/ We just don't have a good place to play it where I wouldn't be afraid of injuring myself or falling into a pond or something. Haha...

I should really try it some time. :/

Hahaha, pretty sure this app would give me a heart attack.

Sounds fun (...for anyone whose not crazy like me!)
  • It sounds like an awesome app that I'd love to download!

Question: Does is work with an iPod touch 6th Gen? I was planning on waiting until I have an iPhone, but its taking longer than I'd like :grumble:

Has anyone tested the fake version that's currently on Android?

£5.50 is a lot, more than I'm willing to pay anyway but it does look cool.

I was hoping this was in reference to the Android app (and I think it's available on iPhone as well now) "Zombie, Run!" (Note the slight difference in name.)

In it you turn on your GPS and zombies come get you. You just have to outrun them and you can choose between several modes where the zombies are faster/more of them. The most version I have offers multiplayer modes.

I just tried this app out on my iPhone 4. It was awesome, but it didn't track the GPS, even though the setting was switched on, so it didn't log my distance.

    Anyone know why....?

    Help!

Can anyone give a proper breakdown of how exactly it works?

I've read the description on itunes and it gives a bit of a vague description but I want to know - does it decide a route for you? Do you have to veer off course to 'collect items'? Do you need to look at your phone to see the map all the time? Does the map show where the zombies are? etc etc?

Anyone with a proper breakdown of how it works?
