Gaining weight not lossing weight

So I have been doing kick boxing two days a week for the past few weeks, they are hour long classes and they kick my butt. My only problem is that I am gaining weight instead of losing weight. Is there anything I can do?

It's really all about what you're eating. If we knew what you were eating and how much, it would give us a better understanding of the problem.

I need to get better about logging my meals. I know that they have not changed the only thing that has changed is the exercise.

Have you been good about measuring? When I'm doing more exercise, I get hungrier and when I'm not great about measuring, my portion sizes can get larger. Even if just by a little bit, it can still cause issues. How do your clothes fit? Are they fitting better, worse, or no change? Maybe you are just adding muscle? But yeah... what you are eating can make a huge difference. If you have switched to more processed stuff instead of home cooked stuff, that can add weight as well. Good luck!!

Are you incorporating a calorie deficit into your weightloss plan? You can't loss any weight without one.
