Tomorrow my husband and I are going to a Lebanese restaurant for lunch. Any suggestions?

They usually have meals that are made of kabob chicken, labnee (yogurt and dip with mint), stuffed grape leaves, Mujaddara (lentils with either rice or whest), beans with tomatoes, baked kibbe, hummus, tabouli, falafel(usually fried though), kefta. There are lots of good choices and they use olive oil which is a healthier fat.0

You'll know the obvious ones like falafel or shawarma (this should be eaten with tahini, hummus, and toum) but I'll let you know some of the less well known dishes:
Fattoush - Incredible salad that I'm in love with and it's my favourite. It's main attribute is deep fried pita chips.
Shish Taouk - skewered and grilled chicken
Kofta - It's a dough that's stuffed with meat. It's delicious.
Sfihah - I grew up on this. It's like a mini pizza with meat and other stuff on it.
Dolma - My favourite middle eastern. It's essentially a middle eastern stuffed cabbage but instead of cabbage it's grape leaves.
Ma'amoul - Bak lava is the most recognized dessert but this is my favourite. My mom makes them, maybe, twice a year because they can be labor intensive.
Kebab - I'm talking about a specific thing but it's called different things by different people. It's essentially ground beef wrapped around a skewer. Honestly, a good middle eastern restaurant can be easily gauged by this.0 -
Hummus
Babah ghanoush
Kibbeh
Shawerma
Falafel
Shish Kabob or Tawouk
Fool Mudammas

Yes,yes, yessss. And labne is SO GOOOOD. addicted. Also fatoush. I noticed someone wrote how there is deep fried pita bread with it, i dont find it very good. Instead i take pita bread, put it on the stove top for a little bit, that way its crispy, then mix it into the salad. mmmmm!0 -
OH I am so excited now! I don't have a menu to show, it's a small local restaurant with nothing posted online. I know the people who own it - immigrants from Lebanon. I can't wait! Thanks for all your suggestions!0

OMG I love a good chicken schwarma, and some dolma thrown in there. Hummus is good for you, but like peanut butter a little high in calories so make sure to account for that! Great pickles too.0
