Whelk... that what will be for dinner tomorrow

vacationing during spring break and tonight while walking on the beach we found about 40 whelks, plan for tomorrow night is to harvest 10-15 of the largest ones and then steam them for 10 minutes.. get them out the shell, clean them, dice them and mix them with cherry tomatoes, oil, vinegar and red crushed peppers ... getting hungry already
