Is this a good post-workout snack?

two eggs, 5 pickled banana pepper rings, 1 sliced tomato, big glass of water, big mug of green tea

tasted delicious and I think it is a good post-workout snack - am I right?

    yum, I don't see why not. You've hit all they biggies it seems. I've been told to eat some protein and fat pre and some fruit post.

    The only thing I can think of is you may be a bit light on the carbs (according to 1 database a 3" tomato only has about 7g of carbs). If you stick with the convention wisdom of 4:1 (carbs:protein) for recovery based on 2 eggs having approx 12g of protein you'd want to be taking in approx 48g of carbs.

    A glass of low fat chocolate milk is said to be one of the best post work-out snacks...and it taste's good!
