I have heard this term "over trained" on this site and am not sure what it means and how do you know if you are over training?
I am noticing I am burning less calories lately and my workout intensity hasnt changed much, is this a sign of that?

Yes, you need to give your body time to repair the muscles that are damaged during exercise. Over-training can cause "plateaus," which is why its advised that you switch up your exercise routines every two weeks. You constantly want to shock your body in new ways to keep your heart rate up!0
