I was just wondering what salad dressing you all put on your salads that tastes good and is good for you. Lately I've been just putting lowfat cottage cheese on mine, I like it.

I use bertolli balsamic vinegar on just about all my salads/spinach. Love it!0

Cottage cheese is good.
I use a ginger soy balsamic vinegar.
Most times I skip the dressing and just throw some meat on it.0 -
Olive oil, balsamic vinegar and salt... simple and tasty!0

I don't skimp to much on my dressing, I use Wishbone Thousand Island light dressing.... It is 70 calories for 2 Tbps. and I normal use 4-5 Tbps. ( I do eat a very large bowl of salad though).0

I do the low carb plan and I love Marie's Chunky Blue Cheese..... like no carbs.......very tasty but i usually dilute it with some olive juice....0

I put half a cup of cottage cheese (1%) on mine along with a tablespoon of Kraft peppercorn ranch (my salads are always huge, so that isn't a lot of dressing in comparison). Sometimes I just use some olive oil which isn't lowfat, but very healthy nevertheless.0 -
I use very, very little dressing on my salads. The kind of dressing depends on what additions I have in my salad. My favorites are homemade honey mustard, balsamic vinaigrette, ranch...there aren't many dressings that I don't like.
Speaking of ranch, I just made some homemade ranch with cottage cheese. It tastes great and is only 55 calories for 1/4 cup serving!
One cup of cottage cheese
1/4 cup water
3-4 tsp. powdered ranch dressing mix
Put it all in the blender and mix until smooth. You can add more water if it's too thick.
My husband, who cannot stand cottage cheese, loved it!0 -
I use plain red wine vinegar. I love it!0

Depends on the salad and what's on it. Sometimes if I throw fruit and a bit of feta cheese on it, then no dressing. Sometimes balsamic, sometimes lime or lemon juice, sometimes salsa if I want a bit of spice. Cottage cheese works too. Sometimes if I throw cheese on, I won't put any other type of dressing. I made my own Greek Yogurt dressing before. It just really depends on what you want.0

Mash a about half an avocado with the juice of a whole lemon some salt and pepper mix until pourable. Yummy in the tummy and adds a boost of protein and healthy fats without any meat.0
