Was wondering how my 5foot 4inch ladies weigh -in with relation to pant size. I am currently at 160lbs and wear an American size 10. At 190 I wore a 14/16. Just tryin to eyeball where I may be at a healthy weight.

I am 5 foot 4 inches. As of this morning I am 139 and I wear a size 8 or 10 depends on the brand. I have bigger hips and thighs so the 10's are to big in the waist and still a right in the hips and thighs. The 8 fit perfect in the waist and a little more snug in the thigh and hip area. Hope this helps some

    I am 5'4 1/2" and weigh 128 and wear a size 4. I have a friend that weighs 148 and wears a 6.

I think it just depends on how you are built. I have a round butt, so I always have to go up a size to get all of that butt into my pants!!

I just hit 148 today and my 8's are a little big and I need to get some 6's.
I want to loose about 8 more pounds but I think that will keep me in a 6.
I don't worry about whether the tags say 6 or 8 (or even 4 sometimes!) though I know how much brands vary.
I exercise quite a bit and lift so I'm pretty fit for my weight.
    I'm just a touch over 5'4"

5'4 .... 180... size 12's fit perfect in the thighs, loose on the waist, size 10's are tight in thighs, perfect on the waist.

I've noticed that every 10 pounds lost is one pants size (for me and it looks like your numbers show the same). I have a lot of muscle, so for me (at 5'4) 140= size 4, 150=size 6, 160=size 8, etc. I'm trying to get back to a size 6.

Even at the smallest in my adult life I have never been less than Canadian size 6-8 pants (because of wide hip-bones) At 170 lbs I am currently between a size 14 and 16 depending on cut (and fit over tummy) I am getting smaller in the thighs faster than I am at the waist and abs. (Tops and A-line skirts can smaller)
  • I'm 5'4 and at my highest weighed 170. I was still comfortably (though not always attractively) wearing a size 6. I went all the way to a 10 around that time which looked better but felt huge (I had gappy butt syndrome in those-guess there isn't a lot of junk in my trunk)

I'm same height/weight and pretty much wearing 14's depending on brand. I actually bought a size 12 capris the other day which was a total shock. I bought them at Dress Barn and I have a feeling that there misses sizes run big! And they have trick mirrors!

Just over 5'3 and currently about 140, in size 4 or 6 depending on brands. Have big hips/thighs to get them over :) Good luck on your journey!

5" 4' and was always happy at my start weight of 133 (size 6 for stores like Banana Republic). Now at 114lbs (size 2), I feel even healthier and more fit.
