I think I'm weird because I DON'T find baths, massages or people touching my head relaxing
Fans and having the TV on low work for me.

The sound of a fan (box fan).

I've slept with one on High nearly every night since I was born. To me, fan = sleeeeeeeep.

This is my fiance, ALL OVER. He has slept with a box fan on high since he was born! It's irritating to me, but after 6 1/2 years I'm so used to it!

I find a cat's purr to be relaxing :flowerforyou:

    Get a big rubber band.
Put it around your head, level with your eye sockets (keep your eyes closed)

Something about this relaxes my eyes.

I go into a trance when someone pets my head. My ex used to do it all the time. I think I like it because my dad used to do it to us a lot when we were kids.

Listening to the Mandarin Chinese radio station while lying in bed, wind chimes, looking at the moon and stars in the middle of the night while lying on my bed looking at the window, looking at the ocean and trees.

Having people run their fingers down my back randomly, very relaxing when done with nails/tips of fingers and it being slow!

Sounds of nature (rain, fire crackling, birds, waterfalls, breezes)

Silence, it can be very peaceful and relaxing.

    Wind chimes, watching fire dance.

Staring at the sky at night watching stars twinkle, watching clouds on a warm sunny day and making pictures out of them! :)

Watching the ocean, especially when it's crystal clear! Watching fishes swim, gazing into peoples eyes if you like them is very comforting and relaxing, put's you in a state that is really nice to have the feeling of, though some folk wouldn't like you doing that haha! :D

I've got loads, but stating the most favourite of mine! :)

I find it relaxing to just to sit out on my balcony and watch a thunderstorm. Just look up into the sky and watch it light up. :) I dunno why but I've always enjoyed that

Techno music. It also helps me focus. Not just any techno though, I'm really particular about it.

  • Cross stitching. Many people have told me they're not patient enough to do it and that the tiny squares would stress them out, but I love it. It gives me something to do while I'm watching TV or whatever, and I can pretty much zone out while I'm working.

I work for the local Historical Society and Museum. I find doing research for someone on their family is very relaxing. Weird I know, but I have always been a book worm. I also find getting tattooed very relaxing though. I would rather hear a tattoo needle than to hear my kids screaming!
