Increasing my calorie intake???

So I've heard alot of comments on here about increasing your calorie intake instead of sticking with the 1200 calories recommended. Does anyone have any imput into this. I work out 5-6days a week jogging 3+miles/Biking 7-12miles plus Zumba on Tuesday and Thursdays. I recently just rejoined this site and am trying to get this set correctly!! Any comments would be greatly appreciated.

I tried that whole 1200 calorie thing and it definitely wasn't for me. I actually stopped loosing weight. You should set your weight loss goal to 1 pound a week instead of 2. I'm eating about 1400 calories a day and since then I have been losing again and I feel more satisfied.0

YES! You should increase calories! 1200 might be alright is you're short and don't work out AT ALL!!!

I'm increasing mine starting this week, I really have been stuck at the same weight for a little while and I'm exhausted by the time 7pm rolls around! I figure I will try it for a few weeks and see where it leaves me.0

Better to be prepared and have some knowledge about what to expect.1200 is most likely too low for you- each person has their own range and you can absolutely find the right one for you.
