    My hubby is a Police Officer and works crazy hours--we have 2 boys and I work full-time. He has always worked odd hours so I am used to it now.

    My husband owns his own business and works long hours AND is a volunteer firefighter. I am SO proud of him. :heart:

    A couple of weeks ago I had the flu. At 4:30 in the morning I called him into the bathroom because I thought I was going to pass out. (I was actually wondering to myself if they'd be able to get the IV started since I was so dehydrated....lol.) Anyway, then at 5:30am he got called out to a HUGE fire. He asked me if I would be "ok" before he went......what could I say? I ended up calling my mom to come over and help me because I couldn't get out of bed without throwing up. I am so very proud of my husband, but us wives make sacrifices as well. :smile:
