Everyone body and shape is different. Dont get hung up over being a size 2 or 20. Keep in mind this is all about you, and your goals and how you want to look at the end of the day. Express how you felt going through those boxes and leave it there. I know what he thinks matter, but at the same time its really about what you want and how you want to look and no one else. Love yourself.

So, would you rather have your guy say something like "Yea, you could definitely stand to lose a few lbs", or "I wish you looked like this supermodel". I think you would dislike that much more than him saying he likes you as you are. If he likes you now, you should think, man, he is going to love it when I get in "Pin up girl" shape!

Wow, he sounds like a douche. He shouldn't be looking at other women and while it's "sweet" that he tells you he likes you the way you are, he isn't supportive of you.

Oh boy. . . here we go. How often do you ever see any guy with a "chubby, not skinny, not fat" magazine?

I have felt the same way, but think I remember that my husband's first attempt to get me I was A LOT heavier.

Also it would probably make an amazing gift if you ever got a specail photo session done. . you don't have to be sluty to look hot. . .just saying

For example my ticker was a session for my husband. .

I have thought about doing a boudour (howeever you spell that) for him as a wedding gift!?!?!!?

10-15 pictures is really nothing to be worried about. A entire hard drive of hard core bestiality porn? That I'd be worried about.

    THIS.

My husband has some porn on his hard drive, some are really skinny girls, some are really big. But his preferred taste is bigger girls. I was worried for a long time that if I lost weight he wouldn't find me attractive anymore, but he is supportive, because he tells me flat out he would rather I like the way I look, because that will make me more confident (and he find confidence sexier than anything), than for me to stay the way I am for him. And then I realized it was silly for me to be scared at all.

Long story short, you are being insecure. And I don't mean that in a bad way. But if he tells you he loves you the way you are, just because he is supportive (and has porn) doesn't mean he is lying. It's because he loves you, and wants you to be happy with yourself. And either you trust that, or you don't. :)

Yeah you are right!!! I am being insecure!!! LOL :)

    Sweet mother of...

PLEASE don't listen to this person! Men look at women. We all do. It doesn't mean he doesn't love you. If every guy who looked at a playboy is a douche you ladies are just S.O.L. when it comes to finding a good man.

    Geez some people...

OH I know he isnt a douche!!! and I know he will look just like I will look!!! I am simply just commenting on the differences between him telling me what he likes as to what he looks at HAHAH thats all?!?!?!?

When I met my boyfriend I was 20 pounds heavier , he had the playboy mags and porn and calenders and all the women were tiny but they all had beautiful faces. I wanted to look like them so bad I almost let it break us up. Then I decided to diet and lost weight , still insecure..we broke up.
I got thinner and thinner and got noticed by a super nice guy. Ended up in a whirlwind romance that made me feel better about myself. I gained confidence because of it. And like most whirlwind romances it had an ending but our ending was star-crossed and we fell out of contact and my boyfriend started acting like he was interested in getting back together but he had one condition , that I gain back 10 of the 35 pounds I had lost.

Now I work out all the time and he loves my body and I will never be a SI swimsuit model but he likes what he see's and he gets jealous if I get to much attention and doesn't like me wearing certain things outside the home because they are "to sexy" and he wants that all to himself..kinda cute if you ask me.

Love the boudoir shoot idea. Do it in a style that you think is sexy so you're not uncomfortable. I love the old school pin-up girls so I'd like to do one with that theme someday. I can't afford it right now but every once in a while, I take some "for husbands eyes only" pictures and send them randomly while he is at work lol. It makes me feel sexy and he loves them.

Posters of women on the wall? Really? I don't know any guys who do this that aren't teenagers. It's one thing to glance at another women on the street, it's another to make a shrine for her in your living room. Go hunting and mount a deer head on the wall instead.

they arent on the wall....they are in boxes...we were going through his stuff and they are from back in the day!!! it doesnt have to do with the fact that he has them LOL

My ex used to have a calendar of Orlando bloom, did it bother me? Not at all. She thinks he's cute, so what. If she had a calendar of someone she sees everyday at work/school etc. that would be a little different lol. It doesn't matter to me if my s/o has a crush on a celebrity. I have mine too! Lol I don't know what her name is but I think that girl from "new girl" is really cute haha

Um...actually, so do I :) And I agree with all of the above, too!

Oh, I see. Then I wouldn't worry about it. The girls on the posters/calendars aren't his "ideal woman". Posting girls on the wall during our younger years is just something us guys would do to let other guys know we aren't gay.

Everyone likes to look at sexy photos. He's dating you, not a model or stick-thin woman.

    THIS

Everyone looks...seems like he like you, if it bothers you talk with him...Oh BTW I disagree with your "I'll never be a pin-up" comment...just saying

    thanks :)

Sounds like he does like that type!!!! But doesn't want you to look like that because he's insecure!!!! And then other guys might look at you more!!! (I'm sure they already do, but you know what I mean!!!)
I don't even understand the connections you had to make in your brain to jump from what she said to this conclusion.
Don't let your insecurities get the best of you.

I'll take out the annoying triple !!!s and explain it to you in simple terms you can understand.
Many men who are unsupportive of their woman's quest to become more fit are insecure douches who are just afraid that once she reaches super hot status she's going to have more choice when it comes to men and will drop him. Obviously he wouldn't have had those posters and pictures if he didn't think that look was attractive, and telling his GF that he doesn't like that look is a bunch of BS.
ps what does this have to do with my insecurities (of which I have very few, thank you ;) )

at the end of the day, in your own words- you look at men too. does this mean you don't find your fiance attractive? of course not!

i think the reason you've got so many responses on this is because everyone has a tendency to think like this too - even these pin up girls probably worry just as much as you do! just try not to stress about it :) good luck!
