Anyone have any hobbies other than going to the gym? For instance, I've always loved reading and drawing. I've recently added in voice and piano lessons which I really like a lot. And I've also started painting!

I got the idea for this one from a calendar for a painting class I attend every once in a blue moon. (of course it's probably going to be huuuuuge in the post... I haven't figured out how to shrink it lol)

    I write poetry and music I also play the piano as well and paint when ever in the mood since starting my weight loss journey I tend to write and create music more because it takes my mind off food.

    That's what I do to keep busy =)

    I cross stitch and make cards (although wedding invitations have taken over) for friends and family; just try to keep my hands busy so I'm not eating or thinking about food.

    Scrapbooking! I also have a huge collection of craft items ready to be used for something. I guess I'm a craft item hoarder.

    6) Fiber crafts (the so call grandmother crafts :grumble:)


    I do other things but they don't really fall under hobbies. I also adore children :smile:

    I used to love cross stitch but I just don't have time for that anymore (last 5 years or so) - and now I just can't seem to see anymore either! :)

    Reading, playing trivia, shooting handguns, photography, hockey, golfing badly, going to movies, hiking--especially at Itasca State Park. I'm also a fantastic cook, but you wouldn't know it with all the Morningstar Black Bean burgers I seem to be eating lately. I also make great martinis and higballs.

    I used to play guitar, piano and at one painful time in my high school career, French horn. I'm waiting for Diablo III to be released. Nobody may see me come up for air for weeks. I also love dogs.

    On sunny weekends I like to sail my Hobiecat 16. If it rains I practice piano lessons. (Sailing is expensive so I had to fire my piano instructor.) Also amateur photography (Nikon D60).

    I collect horror movies...preferably disturbing/foreign/super gory ones.
    I go to horror conventions.
    I watch foreign/horror/independent/documentaries on Netflix.
    I collect horror memoribilia.
    I read books.

    I'm amazingly boring =)

    You and me, too!! I'm addicted to buying all kinds of craft things, especially stamps/scrapbooking stuff. My husband says it would be cheaper if I were a drug addict!! :)
