Just wondering if a my fitness pal cup is considered to be 8oz or a pint? I'm struggling to drink 8 pint glasses a day of water is all.

unless you are doing a lot of exercise I don;t think you would need 8 pints of water a day

    1 metric cup is 250ml - I believe that's usually considered 8oz
  • I take it to mean 250ml (about 8fl oz) per glass
  • A cup is half an American pint 8 oz.

Haha aww poor thing! I'd die if it was 8 pints, no its 8 oz. like a measuring cup you cook with ;) Or if you drink out of the standard small bottles its about 4 of those a day !

I think it depends on how big the cup is.

The UK National Health Service website says:

Research measuring water loss has shown that we should drink about 1.2 litres of fluid every day to stop us getting dehydrated. This works out to be about six 200ml or eight 150ml glasses, cups or mugs.
