Peanut Butter French Toast! 12g protein! Under 300 cal!
I recently posted this recipe not realizing it makes 5 to 6 pieces of french toast! So here's the recipe again and more accurate nutrition facts.
1 serving = 2 pieces of french toast
Cal - 269
Carb - 42
Fat- 10
Protein- 12
Sodium- 231
Sugar- 7
INGREDIENTS
1 tablespoon peanut butter
1/2 cup of your favorite milk
5-6 slices sprouted whole-grain bread
1 teaspoon olive oil
sliced fresh fruit for serving ( I had grapefruit! )
INSTRUCTIONS
Step One: In a shallow bowl or pie dish, whisk peanut butter with milk.
Step Two: Dip bread slices into mixture, and cook in skillet brushed with olive oil for 3 to 4 minutes on each side, or until toasted to your satisfaction. Serve with sliced fresh fruit.

My little girl kind of makes these already and loves them but instead of mixing the peanut butter with the milk she just speads a little on once the french toast is on the plate. The heat melts the peanut butter right away.0
