There are better Wii "games" to get -

    I like
    Sports Active
My Fitness Coach (NOT 2 - but the orginal )
    Golds Cardio Work out
Just Dance (I have worn my HRM while doing this with my daughters - I get the same burn rate as I do on the elliptical...cause it gets your heart rate up and you are moving....)

All the above have been out for awhile so you should be able to pick up used copies on the cheap

I actually wouldn't call it a "good" workout, but it's not a bad workout. Though I suppose that might depend on your current fitness level.

Zumba for Wii is probably a better calorie burner. I have Wii Fit but I use it more for balance than for weight loss. And because it's fun. I like the free step thing that counts off a beat while you watch TV. I use that a lot, though I add extra height under the balance board.

All in all, I'd say whether it's worth the money depends on your budget. If I could only buy one exercise workout game, I probably wouldn't make this it. But I am glad I own it.

It is not the most strenuous and the toning and yoga take a long time to go through because of the way it is setup but they are pretty good. Balance games are fun and a great way to not exercise, or at least you don't feel like you are. I think it depends on what you are doing. Learning yoga with it is helpful because you get a lot of input and direction on poses. For me, it was a great way to return to exercise after ab surgery. I was still very sore but started doing the step and boxing cardio since it was pretty gentle on my tummy. Hula Hoop still sort of hurts but I can go through it.

My opinion, if you aren't in very good shape you will find it very useful. If you have the extra money to buy it and want to learn yoga in the privacy of your home then get it. If the balance games get your kids to get off the couch, cool (mine hate the wii because you have to move too much and the one who likes to move alot prefers the kinect).
