    I have them too, no matter how much weight I lose one day I still will, too, have broken left ankle 3 times and right one once - they just never return to normal after that.

    It gives me comfort to know I'm not alone. I too have cankles. I actually was going to ask my doctor Friday how to get rid of them. Is there really no hope?

    It also annoys me when I wear tights.
    I hardly every wear shorts or capris for this reason.

    I also have fat calves
    But I've seen people with big calves and skinny ankles,
    and it looks a hell of a lot better than the combo I got going on.
