As others have said - great progress.
However, for your last comment about self-esteem I'd say that sometimes the body is slow to change, but the mind can be slower.
I think posting here was a good first step and I'd say keep your pictures handy. Your first picture to where you are now...all I can say is you look like a different person.
You certainly have the body now, so own that. Perhaps reflect on your life and see if you can identify where your self-esteemed dipped. Figuring out the catalyst (weight or something else) might be a good first step.
Good luck with it and great job.0 -
i totally read the whole thing lol....but you are inspirational! keep up the good work, you'll love your body in time, everything takes time.0

Let me just start off by saying wow! You are an inspiration to me because I just started this MFP today and it is already saying I need to eat more. I am like eat more WTH! I will try but it is hard. Like you I have been there done it all. I am just tired. I have always been a fit in shape person but like you my kids came and so did the weight. Now here I am 242 lbs later and at the point where I am like this is it for me. I have to loose the weight because my three girls need an example of what to do the right way. I needed something and hopefully this site will keep me motivated. I have learned through my journey that not everyone is in your corner. People seem to be happier if I just stay they way I am but that is not good enough for me. That fit girl is still inside of me I just have to find the zipper on this fat suit I have been wearing.........LOL! But anyway how great for you!0

Hello and big hug to you! As someone who is just getting started and has about 90 pounds to lose, let me tell you how beautiful you are. Your heart. Your mind. Your BODY! OMG! You are beautiful in every way and such an inspiration to me! Kick that negative self talk to the curb and know that you have inspired another person today! Your back muscles are just lovely and your curves are in all the right places.
You stand tall and keep up the great work!!

Wow, you look fantastic. Great job. I am new to this site, just 3 days into it and I am pumped and keeping track of everything I eat for meals. I will add exercise in a few days. I love reading and seeing the before/after pics of people as they are truley an inspiration. Yours will inspire many such as myself. Keep up the good work. I think it's easier for people to praise others and not praise themselves. You have to give yourself credit for all your hard work.0

Way to go, Your story really inspired me this morning. Just reading through your story, I felt so connected cause I have faced some of the same battles, and this morning was one of them. In the back of my mind, I kept telling myself that i needed to eat more, to burn more, but mind over matter, I have been trying to cut back, and it seemed to defiet the purpose. But I am going to try to do better at listening to my body, and fuel it with the food it needs to burn.
Continued success,:happy:0 -

I've never EVER posted here on MFP before...but I just have to say that you look awesome! My numbers are much the same and so is my story...I'm just not as far into the story as you are. Maybe I need to up my calories to 1700-1900?? I've stalled for months now and possibly that will help it.
You look fantastic!0 -

Whoever told you to post this really gave you some good advice - I hope all the positive comments have done the trick in making you feel more motivated and boosting your self-esteem. I saw the first few photos and thought "ooo, she's so pretty - gorgeous smile". Then I saw a few more 'progress' ones and thought "wow, she's done amazingly well. Then I saw the last one and I thought "holy smokes, she's stunning!". I hope one day you can see yourself through other people's eyes, because everyone else is obviously seeing someone beautiful with a lovely figure that you should be proud of! (Easier said than done as a woman - I know - I have the same problem; but you really do look fab!).
