Just wondering how much water is too much water. I know the recommended is 8 glasses a day but I usually drink anywhere between 13-18 glasses a day...workout days may be more. I feel if I don't drink that much water now my body will retain it but I also don't want to be drinking too much.

When I began my weight/fat loss I was regularly drinking 8 glasses, then reached a plateau where I stuck for a few weeks. Decided to up the water intake so now I'm intaking between 18-24 glasses a day. Googled it to ensure 24 glasses a day wasn't too much and found out that Jason Statham drinks 6 gallons of water (equivalent to 24 glasses) a day in preparation for his movie roles so that put my mind at rest.0

I drink water according to the color of my urine. I aim for a pale yellow like the color of straw. Anything darker and I drink more. Anything clear and I stop drinking. I honestly haven't the slightest clue how much I drink a day, but it's not a whole whole lot. Probably less than 80 oz. most days.0
