Next weekend my husband, myself, and two kids are driving for 12 hours to go visit family. I'm so worried I'm going to screw up my work so far. So what are some snacks/foods that could fit into a small cooler in a car that are healthy and filling for everyone. I want to avoid gas station food and fast food as much as possible!

Some of the best road trip food for me: baby carrots, pretzel sticks, cucumber sticks (not as filling, but refreshing in a hot car!), containers of dips like humus, healthier nuts like almonds mixed with raisins, apple slices, bell pepper slices, beef jerky stays a while if you like that stuff and cheese sticks too...
You can also make mini sandwhiches, salads in travel containers etc.
Have a great trip!!!0
