Okay peeps, when I first started counting calories in July 2010, I weighed 165 lbs and was so out of shape that I had difficulty going up the stairs in my house just one or two times. It was VERY difficult to carry my kids up the stairs to bed. But just now, I did a Chalean Extreme weightlifting workout and then thought 'hmm, I want to burn more calories, I wonder how many times I can climb my stairs'.... I set a goal of 20 up and 20 down. By the time I got there I realized I wasn't done yet and kept going. Ladies and gentlemen, I just climbed up and down my stairs for 30 minutes - 100 times up and 100 times down. I have 15 steps so that's 1500 up and 1500 down. I NEVER would have thought I could do that 8 months ago, and I CERTAINLY would not have done it basically just to see if I could do it. Score!
