What's Your Secret Weapon Food?

I think almonds are my Secret Weapon Food. I snack on almonds and the Binge Monster stays at bay. Skip almonds and I turn into Chris Farley in that sketch on SNL when he's dressed as an overweight woman on a diet shoveling fries in her mouth. "LAY OFF ME I'M STARVING!" OMNOMNOMNOM

No sugar added fudge pops. Only 40 calories for a great chocolate fix.

Light string cheese and carrots. Maybe grape too. Opps I am hungry so I may just start naming foods I wish I could eat right now.

The bump thing is so that the thread stays in the top recent threads and doesn't fall off the front page.

My secret weapon foods are peanut butter and apples.

Homemade popcorn. Very filling and low calorie.

ETA: also, 80-cal snack cheeses. For some reason those really take the edge off.

Tangelos. I get two baskets of them every week at the Farmer's Market. They are super sweet. I eat one when I get sugar cravings and it keeps me on track. I go nuts if I don't have them in my house.

pretzel sticks... you get to eat a lot of them for not many calories, and they're salty, so they really satisfy this salty-snack-loving gal :) keeps me from going to the convenience store and getting chips. the pretzels have the same effect on my husband, too, so we've started trying to keep them on hand more.

i also like the vegan boca burgers. very satisfying, quick to prepare, and only 70 calories. i eat them as snacks.
