During cardio I sort of trance out into my music. I sing sometimes. I drum on the handle bars sometimes. I watch hot people workout and think thoughts I probably shouldnt
Lifting is different. Its a constant stream of psyching myself up. reminders to breath. to push. Keep going. Which lift I need to do next. Counting my reps. oh, and watching hot people work out and thinking thoughts I probably shouldnt

"30 seconds." No matter what I'm doing, every time I start feeling tired or distracted or trying to get myself to stop, I tell myself, "30 seconds. You can do 30 seconds of anything. Just hold out for 30 seconds." I pretty much do that over and over until I literally cannot finish another 30 seconds. I love the P90X workouts (though I'm not in shape enough yet to do the program) because they're already broken down for me.0

Depends on what exercise I'm doing...
If I'm on the treadmill I think about how much stronger I've become and how much closer I'm getting to my 5K...I'm half way there.
If I'm working out with my personal trainer I think about the small crush I've got on him and how I consider him the other love of my life lolol0 -

15 min in: "Is it over yet?"
30 min in: "Okay this isn't that bad...."
60 min in: "KILL ME NOW !!!"
90 min in, at the end: "BUT I DON'T WANT TO STOP, DON'T MAKE ME LEAVVVE"0
