Introducing ... me :)

Hello,
Just joined up here last Wednesday. My daughter is in wellness and recommended this site to both my wife and I. The biggest thing I've seen so far is that I was unconsciously nibbling and grazing too much, especially when making a meal. Now, if i eat or drink it, it's logged. Made a huge difference in my perception of what I consume; and a positive outcome in less than a week.
Till later....

Logging is incredibly important. You are so right.
The first step to eliminating body fat, is carefully tracking everything you eat.
Regarding snacking - you will have to totally end snacking, to lose body fat. the way to do this - cut those carbohydrates.
Eat far less potatoes, fruit, pasta, rice and of course bread. Slash carbohydrates, and you will naturally stop snacking! Enjoy!0 -

Welcome! I'm also new to MFP and so far I think it's wonderful and everyone here seems so helpful and inspirational!
Good luck to you and your wife!0 -
Thanks all for the welcome. The most difficult part for me is when out camping. The old snacking habits come on strong but I beat it into submission this past weekend with a lot of water... and running to the restrooms and more water... continuous loop here.
