I get 1890 calories a day to work with. I know I should eat over 1200 to keep my body from going into starvation mode, but I should be keeping it under 1890 to lose weight, right? I mean after the whole day of eating healthy meals and exercising. I'm asking because one of my updates said that I was "under my goal" for the day. That's good, right?

1200 is kind of a generic thing. I believe you need to find your BMR and TDEE number. You want to eat over your BMR number and under your TDEE to lose weight.0

When you says "you get 1890 to work with" what do you mean?0

My BMR is over the goal number they gave me, and my first day I didn't eat much so it posted a message about eating at least 1200 a day. What's a TDEE?0
