Awesome girl - I am also 5'3", and I will never look like that. I have lost 60 lbs and is 140 (I still have a momma's pouch) and I always will. I have just come to the conclusion that I will be a woman with curves (learning to love them). You look great!

I am on my feet a lot at work but i tend to notice changes in my body the most when:

    1. I choose liquor over beer (vodka soda with lime or whiskey diet instead of a lager or anything with sugar

    2. I make veggies the main part of every meal

    3. I eat carbs in the morning (like a piece of toast with peanut butter), but not for lunch or dinner

    4. I became a pescatarian!

OH and doing at least 45 min of cardio instead of 30... those extra 15 min are really what makes you see results!

I have the pooch also!!!! arg!!!! i got down to 157 and it was as if nothing had happened to it. this is round 2 of my weight loss journey so i'm planning on getting down past 157 and making it to 140... i am PRAYING that the pooch goes away, at least for the most part, by that time!

Congrats on your success! You look GREAT! I'm also 5'3" and I've lost 21 pounds since January 2012. From 155 to 134. The "pooch" is ALMOST gone. Keep up the excellent work!

You look great! As for the pooch, it may not ever go away completely, its something i worry about too. Mine is currently much much bigger than yours. I am 5'1 and currently 147-150lbs, so fairly close to your build. Time and continued strength training, good hydration, etc all help with the pooch, but some of us will never lose all the extra skin, even when all the fat is gone. Keep on doing what you are doing though, great results!

WE CAN DO THIS!! It truly baffles my mind how my hips shrink but the pooch remains. it's oober resilient.. but i refuse to believe that it will be there forever!!
