Ok, I have posted before... I know what is wrong ( i think) so be blunt and honest about ideas and tips
I think I am at that point, I am not eating enough to keep out of starvation mode. I have tracked my net calories over the last 7 days, and I am at roughly less then 1500. Which is not bad. But after figuring out my TDEE and BMR, BMI, and whole host of other calculators, I don't think I am eating enough.
I am friends with several MFP guys that work out and eat like crazy and look awesome!! I need some tips on eating more and how macros work. If anyone out there has a good weight lifting plan .. I am not afraid of weights, I love lifting just need a good routine or ideas!!

Well I can offer some help on the lifting. I was new to the gym and felt a little lost on getting a routine. So I went to this site and set one up for free. I have been using it for a few months now and I am seeing results. Now i did end up modifying the plan they gave me a little. All I did was add in a few extra exercises that went with what i was working on that day.

As for the other part about the other part. the simplest solution may be to just go see a doctor. they will be able to answer your question you have and may even point you in the right direction. Oh and I think the reasons that your friends can eat like crazy is because they are burning more calories per day by working out and having more lean muscle. More lean muscle = more calories burned per day.
I hope this helps you some.0 -
You Net intake looks pretty good, just under 80% of TDEE, I would suggest 80% of TDEE (an extra 80-90 calories/day), when you get your BF% in the 23-25% range you can increase your deficit by eating 85% of TDEE, and if you get under 20%, I would suggest eating 90% of TDEE.
As for a routine. Look into Starting Strength, Stronglifts 5x5, or New Rules of Lifting for Women (NROLFW)
All great programs that focus on heavy weight strength training using compound movements. You can google the above and NROLFW is a book.0 -
Thank you for the ideas and tips. I have heard of the NROLFW before. I want to lift but I get a little nervous about lifting with all the guys there. I know that's silly and they are (hopefully) not paying attention to me.. It's not that I am worried about them watching, I just don't want to have bad form and look bad lifting.
Thanks for the lifting site too!, Awesome suggestions!!0
