Lost 2.2 lbs this week, which is good - but I'm actually 0.4 lbs up on what I was at the start of the month. But I will finish April with a loss come what may - I am determined. Might not be 5lbs but hopefully at least 2.... watch this space!!
You can do it, frannybobs! To go up that much in weight in one week - it must be a lot of water retention. Cheering for you!

16/4 187.2-I always lose a tonne of water weight the week i start usually 4-5 pounds but that loss of 8 must include some fat! It will be slow and steady from now on!

My weight goal reward (WGR): going on a horseback ride once I am under 200! Scheduled for next week!
NSV - at the trail run event on Saturday they were out of the shirtsize I wanted so had to get a medium instead of a large - IT FIT!
NSV - I bought size 12 dresses yesterday (started between a 20 and a 22!)

Wow - this has been a great month! I am only 1/2 lb from my goal and a whole week to go - maybe I will be able to surpass my 5 lb goal!
NSV - Last summer's capris are all too loose, but I hate to buy any others because I have 90+ more pounds to go. And that is another happy thought - when I started, my goal was to lose 130 lbs - now that number is less than 100! Yay!0 -

Haven't weighed in this week just really don't feel like it lately, I have been totally disregarding my weight because I have been preoccupied this month. But don't worry I have weighed twice this month and I haven't strayed more than 4 pounds above my Starting Weight and it has been because of bloating from drinking too much soda.0 -

I'm in a little shock here. I realized why I gained almost two lbs last week. Poor food choices and TOM certainly were the top two. But now to have this! OMG. Plateau...stay away!

Ok, the plateau prayer was effective! New Goal: 8.5 lbs for April!

NSV this week: No real NSV this week. I had a tough weekend and made some poor choices, but I am back in the saddle today! Bring on the week!!0 -
NSV: My jeans and pants that I haven't worn in 2 years (since I was training for 1/2 marathon) are back in action and two pairs are already loose! 5 more lbs. and I will be shopping for another size. Can't wait! Only a two sizes to single digits, which is my 2012 goal. Sign me up!

I did it! I really didn't think I would make the 5lbs this month so I was pretty pleased this morning when I weighed myself! I am not back at the weight I was AFTER having my daughter over 3 years ago. Now to get back to the weight (147lbs) I was BEFORE I got pregnant with my son almost 6 years ago

Less than a week to go - can I lose another 0.8 pounds to hit my goal? I'm losing at a pound a week rate with is 4 pounds a month. We'll see what Monday brings!0 -

Logging into this site every day really does help keep me on track!!! I have always been good at achieving goals when I have the motivation to set them! The problem in the past for me was getting the motivation to set goals but now that I am using this site and signing up to challenges I am finding it easier to stay motivated and keep on track.
Logging my food every day has also been a great help - I really do think about everything that I am eating these days and knowing that I only have a certain amount of calories to 'spend' each day (and this is especially true on days I know I am not going to exercise) stops me from snacking on crappy foods! The bars of chocolates, sweets, biscuits and bags of potato chips that I used to snack on during the day in work have now been replaced with fruit, soyanuts, seeds etc. Don't get me wrong I do still eat chocolate, sweets, biscuits and bags of potato chips but in moderation ...
Have you tried setting exercise goals? Would you feel comfortable signing up for a 5k and training for that? Having an activity to focus on might help get you back on track ....0
