Are there any really waterproof covers out there for iPhones?

I would want to take mine swimming ....

But go with life proof, I work for best buy mobile, its awesome lots of guys who go hunting, fishing and other stuff sweat by it. We even tested it out on a real iPhone and submerged it in water. Success!

Thanks. Yep I wasn't sure myself where to post this one - but given as I want to use it during my fitness regime which is pretty much in the pool....I plumped for this area.

I'll look into the recommended ones - yep I had googled but I wanted trusted feedback not the stuff written by the pr company. So thanks for the personal recommendations. It's appreciated.

I would go with LifeProof. Much more slim line than Otterbox. I have used Otterbox cases on my phone before and always find dirt gets under to cover and wouldn't trust it with water.
The LifeProof ones can also be used with waterproof headphones so you can have your tunes while you swim.
