Boob support for large breasted women who run

Spring is here and I'm considering adding jogging to my exercise routine. The problem is that I am very large breasted and the girls just don't like to stay in place. Surely there must be other large breasted women who run/jog that have found ways to keep the breasts from giving them black eyes.
On a side note, I am not looking for volunteers to hold them down.

Totally feel 'strapped'0 -
Obviously I'm not a woman but a running buddy of mine has the same problem, check out..

good luck with the running0 -
Title Nine Sports has a huge selection of sports bras for the well-endowed. Changed my life.0

I just recently bought a sports bra - moving comfort maia with under-wire - I am an 36E so I too have issues finding support. I got mine from amazon.0

I have no answers for you, but will be watching this thread...lets just say my girls are a "little" farther along in the alphabet than most... :ohwell:0

Some running stores also sell and fit sports bras.0

I was actually just talking about this before Zumba class the other night with some other girls. I feel your pain. I'm doing 30DS and the jumping jacks and jump rope portions are killing me. I feel like I have to hold them down just to be able to jump around. It's not working for me!
I went into ****'s last weekend and tried on an Under Armor bra ($67!) for high intensity exercise but even that didn't work. I tried on a few other but either they were too tight and I couldn't get them on or they didn't provide enough stability. If I'm going to spend $60 on a sports bra, I better not be moving in it!
Don't really have much advice but I appreciate you posting the question and will certainly be following the thread to see if others offer any useful tips.0 -
I run a lot and have varying degrees of jog bras. The ones that aren't as supportive, I augment with another bra. (I wish I could just go out and buy a bunch of them, but the good ones are really expensive. so I am slowly replacing the less supportive ones.)
I find the double bra method works just fine. Good luck!0 -

This - the high level Shock Absorber works perfectly on my F cups.0 -

I can resemble that remark!0 -
Not sure how large you are talking, but I am rather top heavy (36DD currently) and was able to fit into a Tata tamer bra from lululemon. I love it and feel it was worth the investment! I don't know how large they go though.0

HIND sports bra changed my life!0

Ah yes...I just wear an old bra with a sports bra over it or an old bra with a tank that has the "bra" built in. It seems to work pretty well. I still got that lil shake, but I'm ok with that. :blushing: good luck. I have been jogging and I use that term loosely...more jog than walk on most days and I LOVE IT!!0

Sorry, that was my only helpful idea. LOL!0 -
Bump! Thanks for all the info... I have the same problem.0

I don't run but I purchased a bra from Title Nine, Donna Karan. Trust me your ladies won't go ANYWHERE in that thing. I'm large breasted and it holds like nobody's business and is super comfortable.0
-
I bought a moving comfort Juno bra. I got it off of amazon because some of the colors are cheaper on there than other places. It works really well for my D's. I've been thrilled with it.0

I wear two0

Thirding the Shock Absorbers. I did jumping jacks in the dressing room, and my boobs didn't move at all. Running Couch to 5k has been absolutely fantastic with it.0

I also have the moving comfort Maia bra and it is an underwire and very supportive. You can find moving comfort by googling or looking on ebay I've noticed they are a lot cheaper (new of course)...
Hind also makes a good one but it is harder to put on than the Moving Comfort Sports Bras. I also couldn't find them last time I looked to buy one, that is why I went with Moving Comfort.0 -
lol. I say this once and I'm done.
ENELL Bra *leaves room*0 -
I bought a bra from Ardyss International. They sized me perfectly and the way the bra is designed your breasts won't move up and down at all. The bras run $50 last I checked and come in three different colors. They are regular bras however if you wear a sports bra over it you should have no problems. I noticed I can run longer doing this also cuz I dont have my breasts weighing me down.0

I'm a 32HH and totally understand where you're coming from! I live in the UK and got an amazing sports bra from Bravissimo - they were great help in trying to find one that straps you down. I'd suggest going to a store designed for bigger busts and just trying them all on until you find one that does the trick! Best of luck!0

I have the Fiona from Moving Comfort. I love it. I went into a local running store to try them and get my size then I bought it on amazon. I bought the out of season colors so they were only $21.0

bump - I have yet to find one that works for me. :grumble:0

What I do is wear a regular bra with a sports bra over it. But thats because I'm cheap.0

Me too, really is the best...I use cheap cotton underwired bra from M&S underneath and a shock absorber on top....my size is round about a 32 E and it keeps them well under control : )0 -
you are going to have to spend about $50-60 bucks on a good one. Running room has the best ones IMO. good luck!
PS - I used to wear 2 sports bras...I will NEVER go back to those days!!!0 -
I recommend two. Maybe a supports bra and a tank with a built-in-bra over? Make sure to keep them adequately covered too with an appropriate shirt. I kid you not, yesterday morning at the park, a woman was flashing me with her every step. I almost wanted to stop her just to say something. She was totally clueless as to her boobs flopping out of her shirt. Pretty much my worst nightmare.0
