Mix into plain yogurt or drizzle over frozen yogurt! Also delicious!!!
Oooh! I'm going to have to try that!0 -
add 1/4 cup to blender with 3-4 bananas and splash of milk. Blend until smooth. Freeze...healthy "ice cream"! My whole family love it!
Brilliant idea! My husband, who's on WeightWatchers, would probably approve too!0 -
I think it's fairly safe to say that Nutella is the tastiest mouthful of happiness ever created. When people tell me they have never had Nutella, I tell them they are fortunate, because one spoonful is all it takes. I say, if you are craving Nutella, go smoke a pack of filter-less cigarettes and eat a tablespoon of shortening instead, because the path back to the light from a Nutella craving is a long, treacherous road.0

Throw it away NOW and never buy it again!!!!!
It is addicitve and calls my name if it is in the house!0 -
I love Nutella smeared on a Carmel Rice Cake and a bit of marshmellow cream on it. OH MY WORD!!!
It's a good day when I save enough calories for this in the evening.0 -
My jar is gone now, thankfully! It was nice while it lasted, but I wont be buying it again.
I found my favorite ways to eat it was on a graham cracker or dipping pretzels in it. Yep, I am glad it is gone.0 -
Mmmmm Nutella. My new found love. Whole grain English muffin, nutella and banana....yum yum!!!!0

I think the right question to ask is what can't you do with Nutella.
So true! I lLOVE nutella! I am convinced it would even taste good on cardboard!0 -
Naughty but Nice Nutella Layer cake with fruit & veg.....

Nutella is heavenly and I also like to dip sliced apples into it or eat it with my finger straight out of the jar - or when it melts on hot granary toast and is all warm and softened....mmmmmmmmmmmmmmm0 -
Come on who are you kidding there's no way you can have a jar of Nutella in the cupboard and NOT at least once take spoon to jar and have a party in your mouth.
Barring that try a teaspoon on a piece of toast, simple but gets rid of the sweet junk food craving.
I do have a jar of it in the cupboard and I have never tried it. I don't even know why I bought it.0 -
Nutella is my drug of choice! I CANNOT HAVE IT IN MY HOUSE! No matter how hard I try, I eat the entire jar in a matter of hours!
I have eaten in on crepes with bananas or waffles, but I can't have wheat now so I just put it on a spoon. Doesn't do the body any good and the first ingredient is SUGAR! So not good for you I don't care how good hazelnuts are for you )!
Good luck!0 -
Nutella = 200 calories in 2 Tbsp (99 from fat) and 21g of sugar. Not in my shopping cart! I'll stick with my plain oatmeal.0
-
This on a bagel... or get the Cadbury's Philadelphia light instead if you can
I have been tempted to buy the Chocolate Philly but the idea kid of seems a bit odd, I think I ought to open my mind! Do they add hazlenut yumminess to this too?0 -

We all know how terrible it is for you & yes they produced such misleading adverts pretty much claiming "it is good for you"

But OH THE TASTE!
Personally for me, sometimes it is worth saving 200cals for it on a spike day or a day where you want to give your tastebuds a well deserved climax after eating pretty healthily & exercising all week long

This is a perfect description of what it's like to put that oh so good spoonful in your mouth!
I need to start a Nutella support group. I'm giving it up and it is so hard!0 -
I must officially be the ONLY person in the world that can not stand Nutella.0
-
On some wheat bread.0
-
My kids use it as dip for honey wheat pretzels....yummmm...0
-
I actually just bought a jar of it (first time I've ever tried it)and the kids(and me) love it but it's definitely something I'll save for a "treat" but it is sooo good. I put it on toast for them too and it's a good snack before bed.0
-
maybe someone already said this but it's DELICIOUS In crepes with strawberries and/or bananas0
-
Take a good look at the jar, find a dumpster and toss it in!0

my husband doesn't like it either....but that keeps it out of the house so that's good for me!0 -
Yesterday I made cupcakes and used Nutella instead of frosting. Worked like a charm and if the cupcakes are still warm it melts it just a bit. YUM!0

1 hot dog roll
1-2 tbsp nutella
toasted coconut
banana
Dress it like a hot dog, enjoy.
The second thing I make is nuttella banana crepes
1 crepe
1/3 banana (sliced)
1-2 tbsp nutella
heat the crepe in a medium heat pan
quickly remove it, spread the nutella
add the banana
fold quickly or it will get too hard.
enjoy!0 -

Yeah, but I prefer Snickers bars, and Snickers bars have the advantage of being very slightly healthier for me than Nutella. I think that puts in perspective--per gram, Snickers is exactly equal to Nutella in everything but sugar and calories. Snickers has 11% less sugar per gram, and 12% fewer calories, than Nutella. As good as it is, do you really like it better than Snickers bars?
It can be hard to compare by just looking and not calculating nutrition by weight. I mean, LOOK at them if you use equal weights!
For 100 grams (chosen because the calculations are easy to do--Nutella claims a serving is 2 tbs, which weighs in a 37 grams, and M&M/Mars gives nutrition info for Snickers for 58.7 gram servings):
Calories: Nutella = 541, from fat = 270 (50%) Snickers = 477, from fat = 221 (46%)
Total Fat: Nutella = 30 grams; Snickers = 24 grams.
Saturated Fat: Nutella = 9 grams; Snickers = 9 grams.
Carbohydrates: Nutella = 59 grams; Snickers = 60 grams.
Sugar: Nutella = 57 grams; Snickers = 51 grams.
Protein: Nutella = 8 grams, Snickers = 7 grams.
I occasionally eat candy bars, and once in a while even Nutella, but if I posted a thread to collect "good ways to eat Snickers bars" on MFP people would be lecturing me about how horrible candy bars are for you. Nutella is as bad. Worse if you consider the number of people who think they've made a healthy choice by choosing it over a candy bar. Unless you actually like it BETTER than candy bars, eat the candy bar.0 -

Personally, I do like it better than a candy bar. And if you're reasonable about it, like putting a single tablespoon on a piece of whole wheat toast you can get the same satisfaction of having your sweets cravings fulfilled, but it actually will often come in at less than 200 cals(depending on the bread). Not that it's a big deal if you want to stay away from it, that's fine. Just let us have our fun0 -

You all are making me glad that I've never tried Nutella. I have enough food-crack in my life...I don't need to add to the list.0
