Does anyone know why my cardio workouts show up but not my strength training? Can I fix this? Thanks - Staci

I'm new to MFP and have wondered the same. Calories for cardio are deducted but not for strength training?!0

Yeah I am new too, and I wasn't sure if the site was just that way or if I could do something to make it show... looked at all my tabs don't see how to change it, but I would really like for that to show too.0

Strength training is just too hard for mfp to calculate calories for. It has to take into account the size of the weight, the reps, your weight, your age, and mfp has no way of telling if the weight you are using is easy for you to lift, etc. but Strength Training listed in Cario if you search for it, it is a very rough estimate though.0

type "strength training" into the search bar. It is in there. The calories are not even close to accurate though. I recommend using a heart rate monitor to get the right numbers.0
