eat your exercise cals back some say...but honetly imo, everyone is different. i always seem to want a deficit and it's worked for me. if you goal is 1370, and you burn an extra 200 one day, eat it back, or dont...point is getting yourself in a habit of working around your set number...thinking about your choices, rather then just stuffy your face without knowing what will happen.

my original cals were around 1750, after about the first 50lbs lost, i adjusted that number to 1550...once i hit my goal weight ill increase it to around 1800...took me a bit to find the sweet spot for my weight loss...

I don't eat back my exercise cals most of the time, but you could if you want. Just make sure that you eat your goal, and then do what you wish with those extra calories! :)

You should at least eat your Basal Metabolic Rate (BMR) everyday. That BMR caloric intake is your body in a 24 hour coma state. You can find that number here at this link. http://www.bmi-calculator.net/bmr-calculator/ Rule #1 ALWAYS eat at least that!

If you eat your BMR calories you are not in a declining state of health. If you exercise you should eat back your exercised calories + the BMR calories. To lose weight eat back only half or three quarters of your exercised calories + the BMR calories.

To figure out how many calories you are burning, use a heart rate monitor and this website link. http://www.braydenwm.com/calburn.htm

    Hope this helps you!
