NSV this week: No real NSV this week. I had a tough weekend and made some poor choices, but I am back in the saddle today! Bring on the week!!0 -
NSV: My jeans and pants that I haven't worn in 2 years (since I was training for 1/2 marathon) are back in action and two pairs are already loose! 5 more lbs. and I will be shopping for another size. Can't wait! Only a two sizes to single digits, which is my 2012 goal. Sign me up!

4/9 : 184.4 (NSV for the week: I went to a buffet Easter brunch and didn't gain any weight, despite the fact that I sampled a number of high calorie items including dessert. Extra exercise works wonders for the metabolism.)

4/23: 183.6 (Holding steady for the past week. Hoping to lose the last 1.4lbs. by next week. )

I stayed the same this week, which is ok. I had a crazy weekend and ate pizza for dinner on Saturday night. I'm actually VERY surprised I wasn't up yesterday. My goal for this week is 1.8 pounds gone.0 -

I did it! I really didn't think I would make the 5lbs this month so I was pretty pleased this morning when I weighed myself! I am not back at the weight I was AFTER having my daughter over 3 years ago. Now to get back to the weight (147lbs) I was BEFORE I got pregnant with my son almost 6 years ago

Silly NSV - my feet got skinny and my cool sandals are too loose!
My weight goal reward (WGR): going on a horseback ride once I am under 200! Scheduled for next week!
NSV - at the trail run event on Saturday they were out of the shirtsize I wanted so had to get a medium instead of a large - IT FIT!
NSV - I bought size 12 dresses yesterday (started between a 20 and a 22!)
Less than a week to go - can I lose another 0.8 pounds to hit my goal? I'm losing at a pound a week rate with is 4 pounds a month. We'll see what Monday brings!0 -

Thanks dmgaloha! Sorry to hear that you are having a hard time this month!
Logging into this site every day really does help keep me on track!!! I have always been good at achieving goals when I have the motivation to set them! The problem in the past for me was getting the motivation to set goals but now that I am using this site and signing up to challenges I am finding it easier to stay motivated and keep on track.
Logging my food every day has also been a great help - I really do think about everything that I am eating these days and knowing that I only have a certain amount of calories to 'spend' each day (and this is especially true on days I know I am not going to exercise) stops me from snacking on crappy foods! The bars of chocolates, sweets, biscuits and bags of potato chips that I used to snack on during the day in work have now been replaced with fruit, soyanuts, seeds etc. Don't get me wrong I do still eat chocolate, sweets, biscuits and bags of potato chips but in moderation ...
Have you tried setting exercise goals? Would you feel comfortable signing up for a 5k and training for that? Having an activity to focus on might help get you back on track ....0 -

This thread has kept me accountable and extra diligent about logging and working out. Insanity is still kicking my butt but it's getting a little better each day.

The fact you're still coming on and posting the gains is a good sign, I'd be more worried if you disappeared entirely, so keep going and I'm sure your mojo will return
I'm finding that I'm loving my exercise now for the first time ever, and I hate it when I know I won't have time in the day to workout!! The kettlebells are great fun and I can see it changing my body shape, especially making my bum less flabby which I didn't expect when I started out on the kettlebells, haha!!0 -

Phew, at least I will be posting a loss this month (as long as I don't have a 3 day binge) but I'm behind now with my long term goal to be at goal by the end of this year. Need to stop having blowouts and spending 2 weeks trying to undo it and get back to where I was before the blowout!
So far a loss of 1.8 lbs this month....hmmm doesn't look as good, but it's all in the right direction I suppose0 -
