There are a few exercises (so far, I'm only in the first phase) where Tony says "Everyone does 16 reps" or some other amount of reps.
What is the benefit to doing that over picking a heavier weight and doing less reps?? I don't really understand why I should do that many reps with a lighter weight...
Just curious.

Your toning vs sculpting.
More weights/less reps mean more muscle mass. Less weights/more reps means burning fat and building lean muscle.
