Hi Ya'll!

Looking for some low calorie but oh so yummy smoothie recipes. Suggestions?

  • Green Smoothie: 2 cups spinach, 1 med banana, 1 Tbsp ground flaxseed,1 cup fat free milk, dash cinnamon= 210 cal. Filling, healthy & yummy! I've been using cold pressed flaxseed oil (adds another 120 cal) but I plan to try the ground flax & take a fish oil supplement for the omega-3's.

    Simple every-day ingredient smoothie!

    1/2 banana frozen
    100g (4 oz) yogurt, I use vanilla
    1/3 c frozen blueberries
    1/3 c orange juice

    The banana should be frozen because it makes it much creamier :)
    Around 192 cals on MFP

    2 ounces orange juice
    1 banana
    1 cup spinach
    1 cup blueberries ( or mixed berries)
    1tbs golden ground flaxseed

    My kids love this, they dont even know there is spinch in there..lol!
