How often do you weigh in?

So i've come to the nasty habit of weighing myself EVERY morning when I wake up. :indifferent: This isn't a good thing when you make a bad choice the day before (i.e yesterday - pizza! ) So today when I stepped on I had gained a little over a pound back. How often do you weigh yourself? How often SHOULD you weigh in?

Meh, every three days or so.0

I weigh every single morning and record it once a week. It helps keep me accountable.0

Daily. Sometimes twice a day, but for a specific purpose. Some days I calculate sweat loss after a run if it's particularly hot or difficult to make sure I'm hydrating properly.0

I tend to weigh myself every morning just for my own interest, but I only record it once a week as that is so much more likely to show your actual progress rather than your water fluctuations0

I would say once a week, same time of day & as close to the same circumstances as possible. I can totally relate to getting obsessive and wanting to weigh every day, but weighing weekly will help you actually see a progression. I would keep the scale out of sight and just bring it out that one day a week.0

Throughout the week, but my "official" weigh in day is Monday mornings0

I'm a freak about the numbers. I weigh myself almost 4-5 a day. What? Is that bad? lol0

I try to weight only one friday's, but sometimes I just can't help myself.0

Usually on Mondays and Thursdays but sometimes I skip if I don't feel like using the scale.0

i officially weigh myself for recordimg on Sunday morning. I sometimes weigh myself on a Thursday or Friday ot see how I am doing for that week.0

Several times a day, but I only record it on Wednesday mornings.0

Once every day or two out of curiosity. I just bought my scale so I'm still getting used to it and trying to figure out all of it's features. I don't record my weight until Sunday though.0

I weigh myself every day around the same time, and log it into MFP daily no matter if it is a loss or gain. It keeps me focused...if I don't the pounds creep up and I become afraid to find out how much I've gained.0

Thanks guys, I'll probably continue to weigh in everyday, but record it once a week as most say!0

I try and 'check-in' every 2-3 days, but I end up weighing myself every morning out of habit.0

i like to weigh myself every morning... i just dont take it too seriously if it goes up a little here and there after a binge / bad eating choice. if i go too long, like a week or more, without weighing myself, i get so upset when it goes up, it feels like its more real or something. i like to keep myself accountable0

Every single day. I do it as soon as I get up, but after I use the bathroom. I tried not weighing so much, but then I realized that I was never weighing in so I was less accountable as to what I eat... It works for me to weigh in every day, but I know it's not for everyone...0

Once a month I weigh in, take measurements and photos. I would personally advise not to hang all your hopes on the scales and numbers, go by how you feel, look and clothes fit. Its too easy to put yourself down if the scale doesn't show what you want, and as your body fluctuates, sometimes significantly, from one day to the next it will be so easy to put yourself down and lose hope0

I had got into the habit of weighing daily sometimes twice daily. I have decided this isn,t healthy and have promised myself i will only weigh once a week from now on. I weighed myself on Friday last and so far so good but i have been on nights, tonight is night off so lets see if i can resist in the morning. I tend to get a bit obsessive and dont want to be.0

From now on- once a month!! I will weigh in on the 1st only! I have had little to luck changing my numbers and I hate that!!0

every morning but record it every 2 to 4 weeks depending on loss hehe0

I also weigh myself every day in the morning but only record on Saturday mornings. I also take my measurements and record them every Saturday morning. It's helped me to not get discouraged when the scale doesn't move too much over a week. For instance, last week I only lost 0.2 pounds but I lost 1/2 inch in each of my hips, thighs and calves. I highly recommend taking measurements for anyone who isn't.0

Once a week.0

I weigh in when I remember to, but I don't record my weight until I see a change that sticks around for more than one day...it goes up and down drastically sometimes. I guess it's water weight?0

i weigh myself when i can see a difference. like when my belt loop moved, or when my pants seem saggier. or when someone complements me on it its probably pretty weird, but i dont want to see the disapointing weigh in's because it would discorage me or bring on unhealth habits i would like to remove.0

I weigh in every day and track my weight on the Hackers Diet website so i can see the statistical real trend of my weight..
Makes a small up or down bump less significant..and leads to less freakouts.
