How to tell how many calories burned?

May be a stupid question but, I can keep track when I workout on machines but when I workout to my Power 90 DVDS (or any DVDS) how do I tell how many calories I've burned?

The best way is to get a heart rate monitor, but when I didn't have one I would log work out videos as "General aerobics"0

Try googling the DVD you used, some of them tell you how many calories it burns on their websites0

A heart rate monitor is your best and more accurate bet.
You can always google what other people have burned doing the same workout but everyone is different. Before I bought my heart rate monitor I was googling to try and get a 'round about' idea of what other people were burning when doing certain Turbo Fire DVD's, now that I have a heart rate monitor I see that I was way off from what they were burning.0 -
Cool, thanks0
