when you binge and eat whatever you want. I haven't stuffed myself with such terrible food in a really long time. Tonight we went to a local Italian restaurant and I decided I had lost a lot this week so I was going to do whatever I wanted. I ordered a huge breadstick drenched in butter/oil/garlic, and then I ordered a pepperoni pan pizza and had several slices. I was pleased with myself then.
Now, as I sit at home, I am completely disgusted with myself and my stomach/intestines are not happy. They hurt and I can literally feel the fat and oil running through me. I wish more than anything that I could just go barf  I was so disgusted that I went running, fast as I could, even though my ankle is sore. I felt my gross food baby belly under my shirt as I was running and it was so UGHHHHHHH Why do we do this to ourselves? Bingeing like that is NOT fulfilling at all. How did I ever eat like that in the past?
Thanks for listening you guys. Sometimes I just have to rant and there's no one here to listen to me except my dog

I feel for you SO much!
It is so hard. What a terrible waste of time/energy/mood it is to binge.
Please go easy on yourself!
We are only human. Sometimes we are rough on our bodies, but it does happen and it IS okay!
Drink some water and get some rest.
And, most importantly, know you are not alone!

I had applebees tonight. I regret it!! I thought that I was good watching what I was eatting their... I get home and find out I went over my calories by 1200 calories. That really sucks.0

Sometimes messing up... even if you mess up big is a really, really good thing. Now you're going to be SO sure it doesn't happen again because you don't want to feel like this again. Sometimes lessons learned the hard way sometimes are the best lessons.0

Don't deprive yourself or you'll crave it sooo bad and just want to binge... Plan for it. Have a treat day.. I plan for my chocolate days because I know for a fact I'm going to have them. (I'm also keeping a menstral cycle diary and have found that a lot of my bad food cravings are hormonal!) On those days, I just have a light breakfast like a smoothie or protein shake and healthy snacks throughout the day. That way I don't feel so guilty when I eat something more fatty than usual
Don't cut out everything and don't beat yourself up when you eat it either... That's life, live it!
Good luck!0 -
HAHAHAHAHAHAAAAAAAAA "...food baby belly...."   :laugh:0

I know what you mean. Remember that we all make mistakes and you do need to allow yourself food that you really enjoy. Hang in there. We're all struggling through the same things day to day.

I'm in the same boat. I woke up today and weighed myself. I was down to 168! (I'd been stuck at 172-173 for 3 weeks!) Then I had to attend a lunch conference where the food was provided. Gosh darn it if they didn't give us each a big ol' ribeye steak, baked potato, some kind of buttery corn dish, and apple pie a'lamode. I am sorry to be telling you teh food because I don't want to lead any of you into temptation. There was nothing on that FULL plate that wasn't a HUGE amount of calories! So what did I do? I ate it all.   Now I just want to go to bed and put an end to this day. But not before I go burn some daggone calories. Sheesh what a pain! I just hope hope hope that I didn't set myself back on the scale tomorrow. More importantly, I hope I didn't derail my motivation.0

Back on track today! I didn't "burn some daggone calories" as I'd said in that last post, but I'll probably take the kids for a walk. Plus I'm starting out right with water and my oatmeal. I'm back in the game! Plus, the scale still said 168 today. I was sure it would say like 175 or something. Pfft!0

I know what you mean! As soon as you swallow that last bite, you think "Ugh, why did I do that!" and you feel gross and fat and hardly at all satisfied. It sucks, but you just get back on the wagon with the very next meal. Not tomorrow, not next week, the next meal.0
