And never, NEVER.... NEVER (as big and bold as i can make it) eat that Phsylium (sp?) stuff that is Fiber One food. It has me doubled over within hours.

I started adding psyllium husk to my cereal a couple of weeks ago and it has really help with my bowels.......I've had no adverse affect to it.....

I would think they should come out easier now that you stopped all that stuff. I would double your water intake and see if that helps. I would also get more fiber either through salads and fruits or just adding benefiber to food or beverages.

I used to have the same problems, till i started eating better. BUT yesterday I made a smoothie with Organic apple juice (it literally is JUST apples nothing else added into the juice) and It got A LOT out of me lol. TMI. But hey at least it gets things moving. Apples are high in fiber so drinking an 8oz glass of apple juice is like eating 3 apples so it will help things move along.

Eat more fiber. I need to do 40 grams of fiber a day or I have the same problem. Miralax works wonders for me. Also try fiber gummies. For 2 they are 10 calories and they give you 5 grams of fiber per day. If I am having a problem I take them 2x daily. I hope this helps.

Adding a tbsp to two of flaxseed a day really helped me.

This Times 10! Add more healthy fats, flax and olive oil are great. Water, water, water. I haven't had a problem since!

Generally upping my fiber intake helps out, and/or drinking some strong coffee or espresso. if those don't work, Senna (I use CVS generic tabs) do.. :)

Unfortunately, my daughter has severe constipation issues that she's been seeing specialists for 6 years. I know way too much about this topic. Obviously, make sure you are getting enough water. You can try adding fiber to your diet, that doesn't necessarily always work for everyone. Also try the capful of Miralax once a day. You can't take too much Miralax and it's not a stimulant that your body would get addicted to. My daughter was taking up to 4 capfuls a day and she was very young. There is also the classic Milk of Magnesia, one TBLS up to 2 TBLS. If that doesn't work, in the pharmacy section there is glass bottles of Magnesium Citrate. Usually either in Cherry or Lime. Just refridgerate the bottle and drink. That should do the trick. If you are still having issues, see your doctor. You can get a prescription for Lactulose. It's a flavorless syrup, almost like corn syrup.

Stay away from Senokot or laxatives if you have an ongoing issue. Your body can become dependent. HTH
