I was on a plateau for 2 1/2 months, I understand the frustration. I have been told if you exercise regularly that you might need to up your calories, perhaps you are not eating enough? i don't exercise very regularly so I went on the south beach diet for just one week to jump start my loss. That worked. Good luck, don't give up!!

Don't give up and stay on course exactly as you have been. You lost 17 already and you will lose more. Plateaus happen, just wait it out and it will break. Below are a few sites that helped me

Not sure what exercising you do but if you don't do strength training you should add that. Helps with the loss and might help you out of the plateau. I had one for 7 weeks and then now I have lost 3 lbs in a week so it will break if you stay on track.
  • Within the first month of my weight loss I lost a massive 15lbs in the first months, because i went from couch potato to running and eating better. In the past few months later I've lost another 18lbs. But I haven't lost any again for about a month, I've found that it could be due to your body getting used to what you are doing, so you need to liven up your workouts, so I'm going to start swimming and zumba on top of what I already do in hope that I can jumpstart my weightloss again, good luck everybody! x
