Headache after working out?

I'm on Day 3 of the 30 Day Shred and every time after I finish I get a headache. Obviously I am severely out of shape and I understand about shortness of breath and elevated heart rate. But I also get shaky and have a headache and sometimes nauseous. I don't have a history of high blood pressure, I just had a physical recently, so what could be causing it? Is it normal for some people? I'm just wondering what I can do about it, because it makes getting motivated to work out very difficult. It does pass eventually but it seems to last a long time. Help please!

Are you staying hydrated? Drink water before, during, and after your workout. Also make sure your sodium count is on track for your needs.0 -
This sounds normal because working out is hard..you get really hot and thats probably why...ugh ive had a headache and neckache for a little over a week i think from doing crunches the wrong way..anyways this sounds normal to me..try drinking more water during ur workout and little rest too maybe that will help.0

Maybe under-hydration or an insulin response?
Are you drinking plenty of water before your workout? Don't down a bunch just before doing jumping jacks, but do make sure you are sipping plenty throughout your day.
Is your main source of pre-exercise calories simple carbs? They tend to burn up quick with physical activity, and leave you with low blood sugar. Try a high protein/complex carb snack in the hour or so before your workout. And make sure to save a few exercise calories for a healthy after-workout snack.

I find that if I eat something right afterward it wards off the headache and for me occasional dizziness. I believe for me its because i strain my neck doing ab work. But either way make sure you drink lots and try having a snack right away and eating before. It might help you as well. Good luck!0

I definitely strain during ab work, so that could be it. Thanks for all the other suggestions as well!0
