Week 4 August 12 – on vacation
Week 5 August 19 - CW = 190.4 / Gain of 0.6 / Total loss = 1.6
Week 6 August 26 - CW=190.4 / no change, but no gain, either! / Total loss = -1.6
Week 7 September 2 Labor Day is Monday - CW=189.6 / loss of -0.8 / Total loss = -2.4
Week 8 September 9 - CW=189.0 / loss of -0.6 / Total loss of only 3 frikkin’ pounds! SHEESH!
Week 9 September 16 – CW = 18808 / loss of 0.2 (does that even count?) / total loss of -3.2
Scale still basically stuck BUT, because I wear scrubs to work (that don't stretch) I noticed just this morning that my thighs have shrunked! Yay! I didn't have time this morning to measure in the dark, but I sure will when I get home :bigsmile: This is the first positive sign that my hard work is actually working in a looooong time! I feel better.
Anybody catch the new Biggest Loser last night? What did you think?

While I am happy about my weight today, I am very sad. I am being laid off. Today is probably my last day here at this office. I love this company and soooooo do not want to leave. On a positive note, at least I didn't binge last night. I am usually a stress eater, but I kept it under contrl. Imagine that!

jjtonic- OMG girl those pic of you are AWSOME! GREAT job:flowerforyou: Did you do Power90 first or just start with P90x? What do you need to do these dvd's, just weights? If you don't mind me asking what size weights do you use and how many days a week do you workout? Thanks I am ready to place my order
I just started out with P90X. It might have been better if I started with Power 90, but I did get through it. I feel great. You will need a pullup bar (or you can use their resistance bands with a door jam attachment), free weights, mat and a heart rate monitor. My free weights are 3, 5 and 10 pounds. During Phase 3 I really needed to up my weight on quite a few different workouts, but stuck it out with these. For the next round I will get 7.5, 12.5 and 15 pound weights also. You will workout 6 days a week and on your 7th day you can use it as your rest day or you can do the X Stretch. I highly recommend doing the Stretch, because it is amazing. I love the program and am really excited about starting another round. Let me know what you decide then we can talk more about it and I would like to see how you like it.
Are you currently on a workout routine? Do you consider yourself to be in decent shape? Then P90X might be the place to start. If not then I would definetly suggest starting with Power 90. I have not done that one, but I hear it is a great pre-requisite to P90X. Let me know.

So ... for an update ... today hasn't been too bad so far ... and I have a chilli in the crock pot for supper tonight. Yesterday was a bad day for eating ... I just couldn't get full ... I hate those days. Went over by a good 500+ calories. Oh well ... what's done is done. I'm going to try and have better control tonight. I have so much to do at home that I find myself eating to avoid it ... there ... now I've confessed it ... now it's behind me. I wish you all healthy and happy days.

I think I fell off the deep end! Time to get cracking again, I am planning my meals for tomorrow tonight to see if that will start making the difference. I also have been working more night shifts and for some reason being tired gives me permission to eat what ever I want. :noway: I guess changing things up will be what I need to do!0 -
I am having a difficult time with my diet right now, I just need to get some variety in there. I am been better about working out, but still not great. I am going to start the couch to 5-K program on Friday. I am going to continue going to my Krav Maga class as well. My goal is do the three days on the couch to 5-K program and Krav Maga three other days a week. Rest one day a week.

I got on the scale and it said 199.8!!
But I am not going to count it as official until Wednesday and we are having company this weekend and having a bbq so don't know how well I will do. We will see on Weds but it was nice to see a 1 at the beginning of my weight instead of a 2!!!0 -

Don't kick yourself too hard for it. You have learned that eating anything and everything will do this. Now your plan is good, plan ahead and try to get in some exercise at least 3 to 5 times a week. Even if it is just 30 mins. You can do it. We are all here cheering you. :bigsmile:0 -

You have set great goals with your exercise. I am actually doing the C5K and am on week 5. I actually am able to do it and I am really excited about that. I wish you luck with it.
The key is to also eat clean with your workouts. Just because your exercising, does not mean you are going to lose. Your food choices are so important with your workouts. Make sure to fuel your body properly in order to get through the day and your workouts. You can do it.
At least you are lossing at a good steady pace. Keep up the great work. :bigsmile:0 -

I also do weight training--via biggest loser books. My biggest downfall is eating, so my goal is to focus on that. Exercise comes easy for me, eating does not. Once you get a routine with your planning with your foods it will become easier. I do actually eat the same thing everyday during the week and change it up during the weekend. It seems to be working for me. Everyone has their own way. So, keep up the great work. :bigsmile:0
