double entendre. Not only because the activity often takes place in front of a computer screen, but also in the motion occasionally made by the other hand. :blushing:

Thanks everyone again for the responses! I particularly like the ideas on how to burn more calories and utilize more muscles.

Hey, ANY motivation to exercise is good for me at this point!

    Must be an Americanism?

I heard it used in American Pie once

For some reason in the UK it gets called a Kit-Kat Shuffle!

I just refer to it as "having a little fumble"

I'm more a fan of HIIT. One needs the right stroke for that though and it's certainly not for beginners...

    LOL!!!! I got it.

Seriously though - I agree with others.. just consider it part of your lifestyle and dont log it unless its REALLY active. This is prob TMI... well, maybe not... but with my husband on top, I dont log... it doesnt take much effort on my part. With me on top, I log it as Horseback riding - general. They are very similar. LOL

Image Courtesy of PricegrabberThis entry-level heart rate monitor is the perfect choice for the exerciser who doesn't want to fool with a lot of buttons during their workouts.

That IS a plus for this application!
I would have thought that fooling with buttons is exactly what Camille wants to do!

It would be a shame to lock this thread. Seriously, who HASN'T wondered at some point how much exercise they're getting while playing 1 player?

If you do it right, i'm sure it burns calories. And hey, get creative. You can find several good calorie calculators on the web, or a HRM would work too.

However, what you need to do, for sanity's sake if nothing else, is GET OUT OF THE HOUSE!! Go for a walk, go to the mall (shopping burns calories), join the Y, something.

Maybe try andmake new friends or go to church........You could probably use a few decent people who would support you, as opposed to your former friends who partied all the time

again, its on your shoulders to make changes, but Ill support you as your MFP friend if you would like........Best wishes, Lloyd
