accurate scale

I have two scales at home my digital always weighs me more than my dial one. I go by my digital-but when I go to my dr's office industrial heavy duty scale they always seem way off. I find that very discouraging. Any thoughts?

    This is why I hate going to my OB-GYN's office. Even though I'm not pregnant any more they still weigh me for my annual check-ups. I ALWAYS weigh 5-7 lbs more on their scale than I do at home. I'm chalking it up to the fact that I weigh naked first thing in the AM right after my morning pee. So obviously the dr's scale is going to say more because I am weighing fully clothed (shoes included) and usually in the afternoon so I've eaten and at that point drank 50-60oz of water. One gallon of water is 128 fl oz and one gallon of water weighs 8.35 lbs.

    Oh I have the same problem!! I hate using different scales to be weighed on. Im so bad for weighing myself twice a day just to see if I have gained any weight and then I hate myself afterwards because I have of course.

    It doesn't matter. Every scale in the world s different than another. Who cares? Just weigh yourself on the same one all the time, and that's your weight.

    Yes, I live in a nursing home so I just pick our scale here, rather than at the Dr's office. So many things can affect our wt.
