Hey, I want to have at least one PS3 game that is good for exercising and that I can do in addition to my P90X workouts. Is EA Sports Active 2 a good choice?

EA Sports Active 2 is great. It provides multiple levels of challenge and gives you a full workout - be prepared to sweat!
  • Ok well I just bought it so I am ready to sweat!

It's brilliant! I totally love it. (Except Mountain Climbers...they are evil).

I have had it for about two years (although it did spend six months sitting on a shelf). I do like the game. It's not really fun, in the sense that some other fitness games are, but it is a helpful tool for getting in shape, partly because it pushes you to do exercises you may not do on your own. (And the ones you don't like are usually the ones you should be doing).

My only complaint is that EA just recently shut down their servers. To me, this indicates that either they have given up on the franchise, or that they have a short-sighted strategy toward future releases. The funny thing is that I never joined any groups, and the achievements were buried on a website that most people never use, but the fact that they gave up on their big selling point is still telling.

I picked up UFC Personal Trainer (for the xBox 360/Kinect) and use that to supplement my H.I.T.T., kickboxing, and MMA training.
