26.2 miles today, so 41.2 month to date. Ran the Vancouver Marathon this morning, what a great day for a race. Time was 3:50:52, which is a 27 min PR, so very pleased with the race.

16 miles for the week of 5/6
Greenland Trails was an awesome race. I should have run with water (hot and not a bit of breeze for most of the course), but other than that it was amazing. I will run it again next year, I'm sure.
Excellent! I looked it up and it looks like a great race!!!0 -

So on Friday I had a desire to run a race. I called my husband at work and told him to get in tthe proper mind set because we are running a race Saturday. It was our first road race. A nice 10K out in dutch country farmland. It was awesome! Me and my hubby crossed the finish line in 59:45.
WOW - impressive to go below 1 hr and it is your FIRST!!! CONGRATS!!! (to both of you!).0 -

Thank you! It felt great! I signed us up for the Susan G. Komen Race for the cure next Sunday. My husbands mom died of cancer last month so we are doing it as a tribute to her on Mothers day.0 -

3 slow mile today ... and had my LAST Physical Therapist appointment today for treatment of my achilles, still slightly sore but manageable with stretching and exercises - it is so much stronger compared to where I started! FINALLY, it is strong enough! I still have to be careful not to re-injure myself. Highest cause of an injury is previous injury!0

Another 6 miles today
12.75 for the month0 -
Is it too late to join? I was just thinking while I was out today that it would be great to run 100 miles this month. I'm a relative newbie to running, but would love to join the group. I am working toward my first half marathon August 5, a Super Spartan August 25, and a Tough Mudder Sept 8.
Just in case:
5/1 6.7mi
5/2 3 mi
5/3 9 mi
5/4
5/5 5.0mi
5/6 6.7mi
5/7
5/8 6.7mi
Total so far this month: 37.10
